ProMAXX Tool’s new threaded plierpull locking plier adapters produce greater pulling power thanks to their quick slide hammer connectivity. They are ideal for repairs where a high level of force is needed. The PlierPull is perfect for auto body repairs, popping out cotter pins, pulling bushings, seals and other applications, the company says.
These adapters are available in four sizes (3/8 in., 5/8 in., 5/16 in. and 7/16 in.) to attach to the most common varieties of locking pliers and slide hammers. ProKit versions, which combine the adapter and 11-in. slide hammer, come in three popular sizes. The line also includes an adapter designed to utilize larger slide hammers such as Snap-On’s CJ2003A rear axle puller set.
ProMAXX Tool’s plierpull adapters are not stamped or imported; they are made in the U.S.. These adapters are lathe-turned and knurled from hardened steel and black oxide coated to protect against corrosion and wear. The ProKit versions include a tough 11-in. rod and a hardened-steel, black-oxide-coated slide hammer that delivers more than 300 psi of pulling power, the company says.
