Karmak recently held a Fusion User Summit hosted by Southwest International in Dallas from July 19-21.
The event brought together nine International dealers from as far away as New York and California with representatives from Navistar, KEA Advisors, and Karmak, all with the goal of getting the most out of all the technologies present in today’s dealerships. In addition to the dealers, special guests included, from Navistar: Anthony Balkonis (AfterSales IT), Dave Schroedter (dealer systems integrations), and Richard Yale (parts sales manager, Western Region) and from KEA Advisors, Allen Phibbs (executive director).
The summit began with a casual evening welcome reception for introductions and networking. The following day, Karmak says attendees participated in an interactive walk-through tour of Southwest’s facilities, focused on the real-world application of Fusion in parts and service operations.

Attendees also looked at industry needs and trends from the Navistar perspective, including discussion of market consolidation, DMS transitions, integrations, RO data usage, and CRM direction. Finally, Allen from KEA Advisors shared actionable insights into running a more productive and efficient service department, Karmak reports.
“Navistar is excited to participate in events like this,” says Balkonis. “They offer a great chance to collaborate with our Dealer partners and the technology that moves them forward in their native environments. The technologies available in Karmak Fusion are helping to drive operational efficiencies and ultimately supporting our customers better.”
